yes, ladies and gents, it's official. i have blown past my birthweight. went to see the doc today and i'm happy to report that at the big weigh in, the scales topped off at 6 lbs 2 ounces. given that i started out at 5 lbs 9 ounces and went down to 5 lbs 2 ounces, that means that i now get to sleep as long as i want at night and i don't have to keep getting woken up every 2.5 hours by mom and dad.
mom and dad have also observed that my prolific weight gain has been accompanied by the emergence of a double chin. they are quite ecstatic about that fact, though i must wonder . . . when was the last time you heard about a girl being excited about having her two chins admired?!? i mean, think about how i feel!!! i made mom and dad take out all the pics of my double chin, but apparently i think they snuck one by me. if you can't figure out which one, that's tough for you!
